The Five Ways To Wellbeing

The Five Ways to Wellbeing focuses on what we as humans need in order to improve our overall health and wellbeing.  When we introduce these elements into our lives, we become happier - more focused - socializing becomes easier...  Basically, life gets better.

It's a movement created by the United Kingdom's New Economics Foundation more than ten years ago and we hope to help spread this message as we grow.

Below, you will find more information on these five virtues along with how NinjaPotato Games can help you take advantage of these little lifehacks.

Take Notice

"[Taking notice] can help you enjoy life more and understand yourself better. It can positively change the way you feel about life and how you approach challenges."

Taking notice is when we stop to appreciate nature or a hand-crafted knickknack.

If you check out SpyN'Seek, you'll have plenty of opportunities to soak in your surroundings.  Our New Sudbury map features trails, wildlife and Cambrian College's beautiful campus.  Make sure to stop and soak in your surroundings once in a while.  We believe it will help you feel more relaxed which - in turn - will help you focus better and find clues more effectively.

Taking notice can be as simple as stopping to smell the flowers or admiring some scenery as you travel from point A to point B.

Five Ways

Be Active

It doesn't have to be a lot.  Being active is not only great for your physical health and fitness; it helps your mood by causing chemical changes in your brain.  Good stuff, those endorphins!

We'll have you walking, running, sometimes climbing and more.

Partnered with Timmins Fitness Alternatives, we've designed SpyN'Seek in a way that forces you to get active while leaving the intensity to your discretion.
As we grow, we intend to offer a variety of games catering to various athletic skill sets and abilities.

Connect with People

Connecting is more than just having a conversation.  It's immersing into that conversation and letting your guard down.

Our games aim to have people immersed and having fun together.  We believe this makes it easier to connect because having fun tends to help us let our guards down; making us laugh more and better enjoy those around us.

Keep Learning

Learning doesn't have to involve textbooks or tuition fees.  Any time you try something new, you wind up learning a bunch of little things that go a long way.  It helps with confidence, self-esteem and more.

We aim to create a wide range of games featuring comprehensive scoring systems.  This will keep you thinking outside of the box in a way where your improvements can be seen as your strategies evolve.

Working with your team presents itself with a wide range of learning opportunities as well.  "Actively listening to how other people think and apply knowledge helps you hone your critical thinking skills."

Give Back

Giving can be complimenting a friend, cleaning up litter, volunteering in your community or simply holding a door open for a stranger (Good job, Canada!)  Acts of kindness and giving can help improve your wellbeing.

Given the nature of our games, there will be plenty of opportunities to compliment a teammate - or even an opponent as they cunningly take the lead.  Share those thoughts!
